New Soul Collector

One of the first books I ever published was Soul Collector, a story about a redheaded girl who is a Soul Collector for the god of death Alamir. In this world all females born with red hair become soul collectors who travel the country and collect dying souls as freckles on their skin and return them to the river of souls to be taken to the afterlife. This is a curse put on them by a vengeful god of death.

I always loved this concept and the world I created for our fmc Sorrel. I had always intended it to be a duology to complete her story. However, I got a little worn out after writing it and decided to write a pallet cleanser you might know, Pinky Promise. This was intended to be a way to write in between fantasy novels to help reset my brain but keep writing and creating. The Gummy Bear Orgy Series kind of exploded though and I just went with it. Which was amazing, I found great readers I got my name out there, I attended numerous conventions and even wrote three more books in that series and then three more in my paranormal romcom series.

However I've always wanted to return to Soul Collector and finish it, or rework it to be better and at least finish Sorrel's story. There was always an idea to expand on the world and write others stories. I just never had the inspiration to do so. After my busy year in 2025, my injury and burnout where I didn't read or write barely anything and had absolutely no inspiration, I am finally inspired to write again and that just so happens to be Soul Collector.

In taking a new fresh look at this book I have decided to make a few changes to the story to create an over arcing plot that can be longer than just the one book, but that doesn't take away from Sorrel's story.

So write now I'm doing a heavy edit and expanding of the story. I am rewriting some parts but not the entire thing. There will still be much of it that remains the same just with better grammar or a few added elements to enhance the story. I don't want to change it so much as add to it but to do that a few of the chapters (especially at the end) will be completely rewritten.

I hope y'all love my romantasy as much as my romcoms and paranormal. I think it's going to be so much better now that it was before, and I loved it before, which means I'll just love it even more now.

I just wanted to let everyone know what I'm working on and why since I have been a little silent from social media. Last year was a lot and by the end of the year I was dealing with constant horrible nerve pain that eventually led to me being immobile, unable to work and having to use a wheelchair if I wanted to go anywhere because walking was so painful and unbearable. My pain level was basically always above an 8 and many times at a 10 without relief. Thankfully I was a great candidate for surgery to help remove the pain. I had this surgery in March 2026 and after I finally started getting my inspiration and desire to write back again.

I have always been one to follow my natural inspiration when writing and now is Soul Collectors time finally. I know I write in many genres and that's not always normal for writers but I just can't restrict myself to one and limit my creativity. I like them all and want to write them all. And with free will I can. So I hope you like that too.

Patreon has the most frequent updates and information, then instagram and TikTok. I am no great marketer and half the time I have no idea what I'm doing and just make videos or posts that I find fun.
